Colour Conversion

Appropriate color conversion filters are used to compensate for colour casts caused by lighting not balanced for the film stock's rated color temperature, which is usually 3200–3400 K for use with professional incandescent light sources and 5500–5700 K for daylight. Color conversion filters attenuate a range of visible wavelengths to shift the perceived color temperature.
